Yay! I get to brag about my dogs! WDB #4

It's that time again, time for Weekend Dog Blogging - Check out Sweetnicks for the round-up!

This is Samson, again, but this one was when he was only about 3.5 months - and 35 lbs. He's showing off that little face that just makes me say, "Awww...you're so cute. It's okay that you just ate the heels out of my favorite shoes and then licked my face after eating poop."Ew.

He is such a cutie. Even Dachshunds chew up wonderful leather sling backs. I have lost three (count 'em) three pairs of shoes. I am horrible about leaving my shoes laying around and forgetting the alure of leather to growing puppy teeth. So now I take my shoes off and actually put them away. It pains me to have to be so organized with my shoes!

Samson is a cutie! Yes, what we put up with from those cute little critters....but it's worth it! Fortunately Bailey has outgrown the chew-stuff-up phase.

Hi Vickie!
You're little pooch is such a cutie too! I just lost the laces on my running shoes this morning...ah, [un]conditional love for pets. I was always yelling at my boyfriend because he would leave his shoes out and they would get chewed on...but now I guess I should be a bit more organized as well!

Hi Alysha!
So glad you stopped by! That's awesome you've trained Bailey to get the paper (even if it happens to be the neighbor's paper)! We're still working on Samson to just stop barking at us when he wants attention!

I had a good belly laugh today about all the dog shoe chewing stories. Do you think we should have a "Chewed Shoe Blog Weekend"? I had to laugh about the shoe laces. How do these dogs pick what they will chew??

Ha Ha! I think they chew anything they think you don't want them too!

Yep, cute gets away with a lot around here, too. That picture is absolutely adorable. So how big is he now? 150 pounds? : )

Hi Farmgirl - Ha Ha, not yet, but he might end up being close to that big in another 6 months (he's 55 lbs at 5.5!)!

Hi Keiko - Catch me on a day when he's chewed something of mine or kept me up all night...and I might just let you have him!
